POOR LITTLE SHOES

 POOR LITTLE SHOES

(HYMN)

Poor little shoes. They look so tired.
They've carried him many a mile
Since he kicked back the covers and
rolled out of bed
And hurried them off with a smile.

Poor little shoes. They are out at
toes.
They've been stubbed 'gainst many a
 stone.
And he likes to trail them along in the
 dust
When he starts off to school alone.

Poor little shoes. There's a hole in the
sole.
There were lots of games he must
play.
There's shinney and baseball and foot-
ball and "sow"
He had never a moment to stay.

Poor little shoes. They are down at the
heels.
That comes from the grand parade
When he played at soldier and carried
his gun
And was going to France he said.

Dear little shoes. They've cost me a
lot
They've been mended again and again.
But I love them because they have car-
ried my boy,
My little Prince among men.

PATSY DOLLS- PATSY SHOES

Effanbee Dolls

Fleischaker & Baum, manufacturers of the celebrated "Effanbee" dolls made a very beautiful showing in the foyer with some of the leading numbers of their large quality line. conspicuous among which was the new "Patsy" creation that looks as though it might prove an equally successful rival to "Bubbles". In the main, the Effanbee exhibit consisted of an alluring arrangement of large mechanical figures,- dancing dolls, etc.- for show windows and toy departments, with the entire display looked after by Mrs. A Warren. (1928)

Patsy Shoes

Fred Braitling of Bridgeport Conn is sending out a very attractive circular featuring doll shoes with roller skates, and many special designs of doll shoes, made for Effanbee's genuine "Patsy" dolls in three sizes for Patsykins, Patsy, and Patsy Ann. Included in the circular is a special Dolly Dimple elastic for restringing these dolls.(1930)
